I was doing a bit of research this morning and I was on the Avon website. I wanted to see just how much shipping costs were if you did not use a code before you hit your $30.00 limit. You know you get free shipping no matter what after you reach $30.00 right? Okay good. Just making sure. Anyways - I wanted to see how much it would cost if I was not a first time costumer ( you get free shipping any size first time order with code FIRSTREP) and wanted to order a smaller order. So no matter what size object I put in the basket it always ended up with $3.00 even for shipping. After searching the net that comes out to a pretty good deal. Finally an end to those super hot days and nights! However I can feel my skin starting to dry out as the cooler winds come in. Last night there was a tornado watch here. So it seems "they" are back. I do not like Tornadoes. They scare me. When I see those clouds coming in and they look like a mother ship - I always think of those sci fi movies where the aliens are coming. The Monsters! This is the beginning of a new painting. I am working in glazes with this one.  Hopefully it will work out because I have not tried it yet. ;) Wish me luck. I will post as I go along. So how is everyone's summers vacation going so far? Mine is warm. Kids are home from school now and the heat is really making its presents known. Thank goodness for pools! I found this great idea for candle scones! Just when we thought that you had to use them for candles only! This project is so easy that there are no instructions needed. All you have to do is look at the pictures! Its that easy and that self explanatory! I think this is a great idea for the bathroom. I would like to make one of these little shelves by the sink.
